EN  My mother was born in South Korea but she didn’t grow up there. Adopted in France at the age of 4, she has never returned to her native country and doesn't talk about it either. I'm part of the second generation of adoption, the one that inherits information often partially or tabooed. She has often told me: “It's my story, not yours”. I seriously wondered, what does “her” story mean?

FR  Ma mère est née en Corée du Sud mais n’y a pas grandi. Adoptée en France à l’âge de 4 ans, elle  n’est jamais retournée dans son pays natal et n’en parle pas. Je fais partie de la génération d’après l’adoption, celle qui hérite en pointillés d’informations souvent partielles ou rendues taboues. Elle m’a souvent dit : c’est mon histoire, pas la tienne. Je me suis sérieusement demandé, qu’est- ce que ça veut dire “son” histoire ?
